The Coffee Lab - Brewing Fresh Daily

The Coffee Lab, an initiative of Garrett-Evangelical's ITLC, is a nonprofit business seeking to make a positive impact in the community working and studying near Noyes Street in Evanston. They feature direct trade coffee from Intelligentsia, paper goods from Eco-Products and pastries from Sweet Miss Givings, a local Chicago non-profit.  Learn more at their Facebook page.

Lecture: Violence and Reconciliation

Dr. Brad Braxton, Distinguished Visiting Scholar at McCormick Theological Seminary, speaking on Violence and Reconciliation: Three Dimensions of Restoration.  The 2011 theme for Black History Month at Garrett-Evangelical has been an exploration of violence in the Black community and how we as academic institutions and our Church should respond.

Spring Semester Begins!

The Spring semester started on Monday, classrooms were ready and waiting for our Garrett-Evangelical students.

Despite nearly two feet of snow and continued construction, students are back in academic action in Garrett-Evangelical's United Library.

Snowpocalypse 2011: Garrett Edition

The intense winter storms, dubbed by many as a Snowpocalypse, that went through the Midwest dumped around 20in of snow in Evanston.

Thankfully, Buildings and Grounds have made "paths" for Garrett-Evangelical students, faculty, and staff to make their way around campus.
